Any horde player who knows anything about World of Warcraft knows the best way to level is to quest. The time spent running around is more than made up for by the items, increased experience, and increased fun that you get compared to simple grinding. But the difference between whether questing is a little better than grinding, and exponentially faster, is what order you do quests in.
A player who has taken multiple characters from one to eighty might think they already know the best questing order, but with WoW constantly changing from patch to patch, what was good one weak can be bad the next. So, it is in almost everyone's best interest to use a horde levelling guide, to make sure they are always taking the optimal path from one to eighty.
This article will review one of my favorite horde levelling guides, that of Team iDemise. iDemise is a gaming group with a history of excellence in games ranging from Counterstrike to WoW, and has been at the forefront of gaming for years.
The guide, like most guides, relies on optimized questing circuits, telling you step by step what to do. The guide also provides horde players with the information they need to optimize their character, regardless of class, for leveling.
The quest order given by the iDemise guide, unlike other Horde Levelling Guides, doesn't just assume you are playing one of the classes that is overpowered for leveling, like hunter. Instead, the guide is easy to follow and fast-you won't find yourself slowed by constant corpse runs, like any non-hunter using Joana's Guide, or Jame's guide.
The guide was also one of the first to include an addon to make it easier to use, reducing the amount of alt-tabbing a player needs to do to follow the guide.
The downside is, that the iDemise guide is not free, although it is cheaper than many of its competitors. It does, however, sell its and Horde Levelling guide separate from it's Alliance Levelling Guide, so you should consider that too. Still, I recommend iDemise's leveling guide for anyone looking to get to 80 in a hurry.
